• Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by creating a profile on this website, through correspondence or by telephone

Special and/or sensitive personal data

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over the age of 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent.

De Kruumte processes your personal data on the basis of the following legal grounds: consent, performance of an agreement and compliance with a legal obligation.

How long we retain personal data

De Kruumte does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply a retention period of 2 years for the declaration and inspection of tourist tax by the municipality.

Sharing personal data with third parties

De Kruumte does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it when this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

We enter into data processing agreements with companies that process your data on our behalf in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality for your data. De Kruumte remains responsible for these processing activities.

Cookies and similar technologies we use

De Kruumte uses session cookies and session storage on this website. Session cookies are functional cookies and are intended to ensure that the website works properly.

Because the session cookies used by De Kruumte are functional cookies, prior consent from the internet user is not required. These cookies contain a different temporary number each time you visit the website. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.

Session storage is a form of temporary data storage, similar to session cookies. We only use session storage to store information about the structure of the website in your browser. Session storage allows you to click or swipe easily through the list of topics on the website. No personal data is processed for this purpose.

To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with your request. Please black out your passport photo, MRZ, passport number and Dutch citizen service number on this copy. This is to protect your privacy.

We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than within four weeks. De Kruumte would also like to point out that you have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

De Kruumte takes the protection of your data seriously and implements appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised alteration.
